Paul has lecture extensively in Financial and Management Accounting over the past five years in private and state colleges including both ACCA and ICAI students. Prior to 2002, Paul worked as a professional accountant for many years. He is a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants and holds an MBS in Marketing and Entrepreneurship.

Cliodna holds a Barrister-at-Law Degree from the Honorable Society of Kings Inns, a Bachelor of European Business and Legal Studies from University College Dublin and a Graduate Diploma in Information Technology from Dublin City University. Having previously worked in the business sector and now a practicing Barrister-at-Law Cliodna brings her extensive experience in both law and business to her teaching practice enabling her to deliver an in-depth and high quality Corporate and Business Law programme.

James O’Connor – Profile - ACCA Lecturer P1 AND P3

James has been lecturing, specialising in business related subjects on Masters, Professional and Undergraduate academic programmes for a number of years. He is also responsible for the design and delivery of business related training modules for corporate clients. He has previously lectured with the D.I.T. and V.E.C. He holds an honours M.B.A. from D.C.U. as well as a Post Graduate Diploma in Training and Education. Prior to going into full-time training, James has worked for three separate and distinct multinational companies (American, Japanese and Irish) in various management roles. He is a confident lecturer and his style is very supportive to accommodating and enhancing upon a positive student academic experience

Barry Smith – Profile –ACCA Lecturer F7 AND P2

Barry Smith, chartered accountant, has been teaching accounting and finance since 2001. He spent five years teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels at Dublin City University Business School. In 2006, he left Dublin City University to establish his own business developing online accounting and finance educational content. Barry continues to teach ACCA and ACA accounting courses on a freelance basis and has recently authored a financial accounting textbook for McGraw-Hill publishers. Prior to working at DCU, he spent five years working with PricewaterhouseCoopers in New Zealand, Germany and Zimbabwe. Barry holds undergraduate and postgraduate degrees from University College Dublin and is currently completing PhD research at the University of Birmingham, UK.

Paula is a qualified accountant and a graduate of DCU where she was awarded a Bachelor of Business. She has worked at a senior level in different sectors, ranging from retail to manufacturing based in Ireland, the UK and Germany. Paula has experience in the public sector having acted as a financial adviser in relation to EU funding. She is now using the practical experiences gained in industry to deliver accountancy modules on the Management Accounting module on IATI.

Keith Whitford - Profile - ACCA Lecturer F6

Keith is a qualified accountant and tax consultant with over twelve years of experience in private practice, with the last three being as a sole-practitioner (under the name KPW & Co). Keith has been lecturing part time professional accounting courses (ACCA and IATI) for 5 out of the last 7 years

Isolde Hampson – IATI Taxation 1 and II Lecturer

Isolde is an Assistant Principal with the Revenue Commissioners. She heads up the business incentives area dealing with Film Productions and Research & Development. Nine of her thirty years in Revenue were spent as a Revenue Auditor and six as a lecturer in Revenue’s Training Branch. She taught Taxation and Accountancy in Revenue’s Diploma in Applied Taxation, which is accdarkblueited by University of Limerick. Isolde holds a First Class BBS Honours Degree in Financial and Management Accounting. She has been teaching Taxation 1 and Taxation 2 on the IATI programme since 2002. She joined IBaT in 2006.

Martin Quinn – IATI Financial Accounting 1 and II Lecturer

A Charted Management Accountant since 1994, Martin has a BA(Hons) in Business Studies and an MSc in Management and Applications of IT in Accounting. Martin has worked in manufacturing firms in Ireland for 11 years prior to starting an academic career. Martin spent several years with a small indigenous manufacturing firm and 8 years in a global paper company. He has acquidarkblue intimate knowledge of the paper and packaging industry in both finance and information technology fields. Martin is currently undertaking a PhD research degree.

Olivia Edge – IATI Business & Finance Lecturer

Olivia has over 12 years account management experience in leading multi-national companies in the digital electronics and software industries. Over this time she has amassed experience in strategic business development and deployment, sales operations, price negotiations, customer relationship management and marketing management. She holds a Bachelor in Business Studies and a Masters by Research in Business Studies. She lectures a variety of business subjects including International Marketing, Strategic Management, Project Management and Organisational Behaviour.

Adrienne Gallagher – IATI Business & Finance Lecturer

Adrienne is a qualifiedaccountant with 15 years experience in the Financial Services sector both in Ireland and in a Pan European context. Having worked for companies such as Bank of Ireland, Standard Life and Royal Bank of Scotland, she gained extensive experience in finance, IT Management and HR. She lectures in Financial Accounting, Business Maths and Quantitative Methods

Mark Dean – Web Design / IS Lecturer

Mark is an IT professional with over 17 years industry experience. Over this period he has accumulated knowledge and skills from numerous sectors ranging from education through to manufacturing and banking. He has been involved in many IT roles including software developer, team leader, systems analyst, and corporate IT trainer. Mark holds a Bachelor of Science from Trinity College and has lectured on both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes as well as professional programmes such as IATI and ACCA. He is the trainer on the Diploma in Web Design and currently maintains the IBAT College Website and Student Portal.

Morgan Campbell Desktop Publishing / Multimedia Lecturer

Morgan has worked in the print and design industry for more than five years. He spent several years working in desk top publishing and graphic design departments in Ireland before travelling to the UK. During this time he worked on numerous high profile marketing campaigns and won several design and marketing awards. In 2007 he returned from England to complete a master’s degree in marketing and oversee the running of his own design and marketing enterprise.

John Rowley – Web Design / PHP SQL Lecturer

John Rowley's career spans web development (LAMP), Web Manager and Corporate spokesman (Ryanair), 11 years in software management and development (Symantec, Corel), technical training (PHP, MySQL, Perl, XML, C#, CSS Javascript), technical writing (C++, Java), documentation management and news journalism. He was the first PHP developer in Ireland to achieve Zend PHP Certification and the first technical writer in Ireland to document C++ compiler and application frameworks. He is MySQL Certified and has worked as a consultant / developer for Irish Rail, Suzuki, Nestle, and Eli Lilly. He currently works as a .NET information architect for the ECDL foundation where he develops the centre and candidate administration systems for the ECDL programs in Ireland. On a lighter note, he's also an accomplished standbup comedian, performing regularly in Manchester and Dublin.

Cara Martin - Multimedia Lecturer

Cara has been working in the IT Sector for the past 8 years as a Consultant and Lecturer in IT. She Hold a B.Sc in Computer Science and an M.Sc in the field Artificial Intelligence from UCD. Her main areas of expertise are Databases and Web Design. Over the years she has worked with many high profile clients in both the government and corporate sectors.

Keith Feighery - Online Marketing, Sales and Digital Strategy Lecturer

Keith holds a first class MA in Digital Media Technologies. He owns Digital Insights, which is a digital media and social technologies consultancy. He works with clients developing enterprise digital and web strategies and solutions that align with overall business objectives. Keith has developed successful online retail businesses and has over 10 years experience working with large Irish and international software vendors and consultancies such as Eontec, Siebel Systems and Allfinanz.

Tony Murray– ECDL Lecturer

Tony has over 40 years experience in the IT industry with roles ranging from software development to business analyst and project management. He commenced teaching in 1988 and ran his own training centre for a number of years before joining IBAT. Tony completed the Diploma in Systems Analysis course in Trinity College and has a Certificate in Training from NUI Maynooth

Lisa Donaldson – IT and Business Lecturer

Lisa is an experienced lecturer who has been teaching for over 14 years. During this time, Lisa has taught in both the academic and corporate sectors. She has previously lectured Business and IT subjects at Griffith College and led the Training Teams in Esat BT and Software Paths. Lisa has also founded & managed 2 small businesses and brings extensive real life work experience to her teaching role. She has undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications in Business and IT from Northeastern University, Trinity College Dublin and Dublin City University. She lectures in Systems Analysis & Design, Business Applications and Marketing.

Maria Farrell - Holistic Massage Lecturer

Marie currently works full time in Blackrock Clinic and has extensive medical background experience of 15 years. Marie holds ITEC qualifications in Anatomy and Physiology, Holistic Massage and On Site Massage. She also holds qualifications in Psychology and counseling. Marie is a member of the International Federation of Spiritual Healers and holds qualifications in Spiritual Healing and Psychic Studies

Mary Tobin – Holistic Massage Lecturer

Mary has been working in the field of Complimentary and Alternative medicine for the last 13 years, first qualifying in Holistic Massage, Anatomy and Physiology and subsequently a post grad in Aromatherapy. In 1998 Mary took up a post as main Lecturer of Holistic Massage in a leading Dublin College and joined the IBAT team in 2007 as Holistic massage Specialist where she still lectures at present. In 2006 Mary studied On Site Massage and Stress Management in London and set up her own business "Cloud Nine" offering well being and life balance services in the corporate sector. Mary is committed to teaching excellence within this field and also provides job opportunities within her company to students on graduation.

Geraldine Nolan – Holistic Massage Lecturer

Geraldine qualified as a Massage Therapist in April 1998 and her experience to date includes working as a Holistic Therapist. Since 2000 Geraldine has been teaching Holistic Massage and in 2003 adapted and devised the I.T.E.C Unit 22 Professional Conduct, Client Handing & Business Awareness for all I.T.E.C Diploma Courses. Geraldine successfully completed her City and Guilds Certificate in Adult Education in 2007 and holds an I.T.E.C. Diploma in lecturing. Geraldine teaches the I.T.E.C. Diploma in lecturing with a strong passion for guiding each candidate in a very supportive environment in relation to all aspects of teaching.
