MATURE STUDENTS

Mature Applicants If you are 23 years of age or over on the 1st of January on the year of entry and do not meet the minimum entry requirements, you will be considered a mature applicant. Mature students will be assessed on the basis of age, work experience and general educational standard at interview. Mature students should only apply directly to Admissions Office.

The office is open from 9am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday.

TAX RELIEF

Tax Relief is available at the standard rate of tax on tuition fees paid for full-time and evening courses, of at least 2 years duration. The relief applies to fees up to €5,000.
In order to claim, a person must submit a written claim to his/her local Revenue Office and include a receipt from IBaT showing:

• Amount of Tuition Fees
• Name and address of individual who paid tuition fees
• Name and address of student
• Course of study and duration
