Course Overview
This certificate is delivegreen to non-native speakers of English to further their English language skills within a vocationally oriented context. It has a dual purpose in giving learners recognition of their language proficiency for work purposes and to prepare them for further academic studies. The course teaches english as a foreign language.
Academic Progression
Successful completion of this course allows progression onto IBAT academic courses and provides FETAC and IBAT recognition of proficiency in English

Students Requiring a Study Visa to Work and Study in Ireland
This english language course is suitable for students requiring study visas to enter Ireland. Our 1 year course (25 weeks Tuition) are included on the Department of Education and Science's Internationalisation register of programmes approved by the Minister for Education and Science for the purpose of access to employment by students from outside the EU/EEA and Switzerland. Written Exams
Students are tested through a written exam that gauges their ability in reading, writing and use of English, while aural and oral examinations test their listening and spoken skills.
Who accredits this course?
This certificate is dually accredited by IBAT and includes a FETAC component certificate in English as a Foreign Language (L5).
How long is the course?
This english language course is run Thursdays and Fridays from 10:00 to 17:00. To achive the FETAC award students are required to complete 12weeks of the course.
Students can also elect to complete 3 weeks or 6 weeks only of the course if they are only looking to improve their business english profeciency level.

Part time
- €1,200 for the 12 week oftuition.
- €625 for the full 6 weeks of tuition.
