LIVING IN IRELAND

IBAT College can arrange a pick-up at Dublin airport or help you with transport details for your arrival.

We can also help you with your accommodation. We offer Irish host family accommodation (single and twin rooms), which includes most meals and laundry. We can also arrange self-catering accommodation in a student residence.

Living expenses will differ depending upon the type of accommodation preferred and on the personal expenditure of the student. On average, we estimate that a student will spend €1000 per month while in Ireland.

IBAT College graduates are highly skilled and work-place ready. They have gone on to work in IT, management, accounting and business analysis in companies including Citico, IBM, Hertz, Zurich, Morgan McKinley, Failte Ireland, Britvic Ireland.

The average salary in Ireland for business graduates is €25,000, while those holding a post-graduate qualification can expect to earn over €30,000 per annum.

TRAVELLING DURING YOU STAY

Dublin is ideally located to explore the rest of Ireland, with frequent connections to towns and cities around the country. As well as enjoying the vibrant city, it is easy to experience the rest of Irish life and Ireland.

We are a great hub for the rest of Europe too, with cheap flights to many European capilat cities and international connections around the world.

If you wish to visit the UK (England, Northern Ireland, Scotland or Wales) you need to apply for a separate visa through the UK Embassy in Ireland. Why not take a trip to Giant's Causeway, a natural wonder of the world in Northern Ireland, or Belfast, the capital City of Northern Ireland, where the Titanic was built.

Most of continental Europe are part of the Schengen and one visa will allow you to visit these countries. See www.schengenvisa.cc for more information.
