Why Project Management?
To be a successful Project Manager you need to have a results-orientated management style that relies on building collaborative relationships. A key factor that distinguishes project management from just 'management' is that it requires a final deliverable within a finite time-span (and budget), unlike management which is an ongoing process. Because of this a project professional needs a wide range of skills; often technical ability, and most certainly people management skills and good business awareness and insight.
The Project Management Institute (PMI) predicts the demand for Project Managers will outstrip supply over the next 10 years. By 2027, employers will need 87.7 million individuals working in project management-oriented roles globally Benefit from classroom-based learning with our expert tutors who have years of industry experience and are experts in the field. Seize this opportunity to boost your prospects and stay ahead of the competition.
According to GoStudy Consulting and EdTech, over 50,000 individuals are working in Ireland's Project Management sector, which includes IT, public sector, pharmaceuticals, construction, professional services, financial services, and manufacturing. PMO demand in Ireland is increasing at a rate of 22% per year!
