You can open  a bank account at any of the banks; AIB Bank, Bank of Ireland, Ulster Bank, Permanent TSB, KBC Bank.

• You can request up to 4 weeks of holidays during their course. All the holidays need to be taken for a full week i.e. from Monday to Friday. They can take 1, 2, 3 or 4 weeks without providing any additional documentation.
• You do need to study for at least 10 weeks before requesting holidays
• Your attendance needs to be 70% or higher
• You also need to request their holidays 2 weeks before

Changing Campus is not possible. Once you are assigned to either of our campuses, you cannot change it after your course starts.

To change your level, you need to take and pass our level test. The level test takes place every 6 weeks and is available to all the students. You need to take all parts of the test and you need to score overall at least 70% to change level.

This depends on the availability of the courses and the number of students registered. There is no guarantee that the schedule change can be granted. Requests are granted on a case by case basis. There is a difference in fees between AM and PM classes. Specific information can be provided by the Centre Managers and Administrators.

• Your attendance is very important and should never fall below 85% (according to GNIB regulations).
• You attendance is recorded weekly.
• You can check your attendance online any time
• All absences up to a week (5 days Monday-Friday) will be amended, given a medical certificate is provided. All absences for over a week will be considered case by case.
• The medical certificate needs to be sent via our Help Desk or brought to the reception on the first day back to class.
  
  

Yes, it is part of your visa requirement. Every student needs to take their exit exam at the end of their course. IBAT College is a TIE certified exam centre and offers TIE to its students. If you wish to take any other exit exam, you can choose either any Cambridge exam, IELTS or Trinity exam. Unfortunately, IBAT College cannot assist you with booking alternative exams.

To request a Tie refund you  need to complete the online request form (https://www.ibat.ie/refund-policy.html ).

You also need to upload payment & proof of registration for an alternative English language examination.  Refunds can take up to 30 working days.

Congratulations on completing your course! A few days before your course finishes you will receive an email titled ’My last day in IBAT’. You will find a lot of important information about your course completion in our college, for example how to request your certificate of achievement.
