As Policy & Quality Assurance Manager, Liam leads IBAT Dublin’s quality assurance framework, ensuring that policies, procedures and governance structures support excellent teaching, learning and learner experience. He oversees ongoing review of the Quality Assurance Handbook so that IBAT’s documented processes align with best practice and sectoral expectations.
With experience in programme management, policy development and governance across the higher education sector, previously serving in academic governance in Maynooth University and Technological University Dublin. Liam serves and an appointee of Minister for Further and Higher Education on the National University of Ireland Senate, reflecting his ongoing contribution to governance and quality at the highest levels of the Irish higher education sector.
