I am a CELTA-certified English as a Second Language teacher with a Ph.D. in Pedagogy. My teaching journey began over two decades ago, initially as an English and German teacher at a school. From 2000 to 2023, I held a significant tenure at Cherkasy State Technological University, where I progressed from Lecturer in the Department of Applied Linguistics and Foreign Languages to Associate Professor in the Department of Foreign Languages and International Communication.
Throughout this time, I taught a variety of courses, including English for Specific Purposes (ESP) in fields such as ICT, Management, Marketing, Building Engineering, International Economics, and Accounting, as well as English for Academic Purposes (EAP) and English as a Second Language (ESL). I believe the classroom should be a safe and welcoming environment where students feel free to express themselves, ask questions, and take risks in their learning journey.
