Dr. Finbarr Murphy has served as the Registrar of IBAT College Dublin since December 2017. Before joining IBAT, he spent 13 years in the financial services sector, working with member-based organizations. This included three years as Director of Education at the Association of Compliance Officers in Ireland (now Compliance Ireland) and 10 years as Senior Programme Manager at the Institute of Banking in Ireland. Prior to his roles in education-focused organisations, Dr. Murphy worked for seven years in asset management and two years in the pensions industry. While advancing his career, he also completed his doctorate and master’s degrees, and he is a qualified secondary school teacher.
