English Language Requirement for International Students

Level 6 - Certificate in Access Studies for Higher Education - (ATU Awarded programme)

For applicants whose first language is not English, the minimum English language requirement for entry to the programme is IELTS score 5.00 (no band less than 4.5) / Duolingo English Test 80 (or equivalent).

Level 7 & Level 8 (QQI Awarded Programmes)

For applicants whose first language is not English, the minimum English language requirement for entry to the programme is IELTS score 6.00 / Duolingo English Test 105 (or equivalent).

Level 9 (MSc in Marketing or MSc in Business Management) - (ATU Awarded programmes)

For applicants whose first language is not English, the minimum English language requirement for entry to the programme is IELTS score 6.00 (no band less than 5.5) / Duolingo English Test 105 (minimum competence of 100 per component) (or equivalent).
