ACELS

Since 1969, The Accreditation and Co-ordination of English Language Services (ACELS) has ensured that English courses taught at IBAT are of a high quality. ACELS conducts inspections of its members annually and also organises a recognition scheme for English Language Teaching organisations (ELTOs) nationally. IBAT is a member of this and a list of ELTOs is published annually by ACELS.

MARKETING ENGLISH IN IRELAND (MEI)

The English School at IBAT College Dublin is a member of the Marketing English in Ireland (MEI) Association. MEI is an association of recognised English Language Institutions in Ireland. Over 90% of English language students in Ireland, study with an MEI member school.

With origins dating back to the 1960s MEI has grown in membership which includes small, medium and large schools that teach over 120,000 students from all over the world each year. Their primary goal is to raise standards in ELT.

Member schools of MEI are inspected and recognised by Accreditation and Coordination of English Language Services (ACELS).
