Why the Psychology of Work?

Work Psychology is a field of psychology that applies psychological theories in organisations.  Psychology is a study of mind and behaviour.  Work Psychology then attempts to consider how employees’ attitudes and motivations influence each other and the entity that they work in.  Most of us will spend a considerable amount of time as part of a workforce.  It is critical then that we enhance our understanding of the psychology of work as it is directly relevant to all of us.
