IBAT College Dublin is focused on ensuring that the application process is as clear and simple as possible. We have a dedicated Admissions Team who will work with you to help you in your course choice and throughout the application process. Outlined below is a summary of the how to apply for our courses. For entry requirements, please check the individual course information pages on this site or contact a member of our Admissions Team. Initial application can be made here along with full registration for some of our part-time courses.

Postgraduate Courses

The Postgraduate application process consists of a formal application along with supporting documentation, interview, and if successful, selection by the academic board. Part-Time Diploma Courses

Application and registration can be made directly. Part-time Diploma courses are offered throughout the academic year. Intake dates and timetables are available on the individual course pages.

General Information for Applicants

Mature Students - Mature students are welcomed at IBAT College Dublin. Applicants aged 23 and over on 1st January of the year of entry are classes as Mature applicants.

Credit Transfer and Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) - IBAT College Dublin invites applications from students holding qualifications from other accredited institutions and universities. For more information on recognition of prior learning and credit transfer please contact the Admissions Office. Please note that RPL or Credit Transfer is not accepted for postgraduate programmes.

International Student Applications

IBAT College Dublin welcomes applications from international students. Please contact our International Admissions team by stating your nationality, current location, name and phone number. Currently, IBAT College Dublin uses the Irish Qualification Recognition Service and the UK’s National Academic Recognition Information Centre (NARIC) to map international qualifications onto the Irish Framework.

For applicants whose first language is not English an IELTS certificate may also be required.

International applicants who require a Visa should use the services of an overseas education consultant/education agent. IBAT College Dublin works closely with selected agencies overseas.
