On 14 April 2021, IBAT hosted an employability workshop for students studying the BA in Business. The event welcomed Ed Giansante, Co-Founder and CEO of E-Dublin, the largest channel of information for expats based in Europe.

Since its launch in 2008, E-Dublin has helped millions of people searching for information about studying abroad. Ed's work has been recognised many times globally, including being awarded the Best Blog Abroad four times. While building his side hustle, Ed has worked for a number of multinational companies including Intel, Zynga, Dropbox, and currently, Wix as Head of Community. He was also elected the Community Professional of the Year by CMX.

During the workshop, Ed spoke to students about key employability factors such as keeping up with their Linkedin Profile and the power of networking. He emphasised how connections and networks are the most important of factors.
