Dave has over 25 years experience in leading technology change and operations in Financial Services. With a background in consulting Dave has held a number of Senior Executive Leadership roles within Bank of Ireland Group. As Head of Solutions Delivery for BOI Group Dave managed a team of 500 IT Professionals (on shore and off shore) and was accountable for the delivery of all IT change for the Bank. Dave was also Head of IT New Ireland Assurance/Bank of Ireland Life where he led the creation of a single IT capability and rationalised technology to deliver a more cost effective and responsive service. He has also headed up the IT department for Lifetime Assurance where he managed the greenfield set up of it's IT Function and the delivery of core Technology Applications and Services. Dave has also held programme and line IT Roles with KPMG, Payzone, and Vision Consulting.
Emma Olohan holds entrepreneurial, SME & large company experience. Her business skills have crossed over three different industry sectors; Recruitment, Luxury Retail, Travel Retail, Aviation Training & Education, Marketing & Event Management, Brand management - FMCG and Grocer, & Education over the past 17 years. Her roles have included General Manager at Casey Recruitment (Brown Thomas group, Dublin Airport Authority, Debenhams, Arnotts, HOF, and more), PR & Marketing manager at College Ireland Aviation, Senior Marketing Account Manager, and Project Manager - MPM Project Management (Dublin Marathon Expo event, VHI Women’s Mini Marathon, Competitor Group Dublin event, FMCG brand events, ). Emma's more recent projects focus on Marketing Consultancy, she is Executive Director of a Marketing consultancy specialising in customer activations. This experience underpins her innate understanding the journey any entrepreneur enters into when starting his or her own business. Her leadership skills are accentuated by her memberships and associations. Emma is a full member of the Public Relations Institute of Ireland and an advocate for Access to Education for All- Life Long Learning. Emma is also part of the Global Board Ready Women Initiative and a member of the Organising Panel for the ICEP National Education Conference.
David Leydon is commercial director at Irish Farmers Journal and also sits on the board of Newsbrands Ireland, he hold an MSc in IT & Business as well as an MBA from Henley Management School. He has played a significant role in developing the new five year strategy at Irish Farmers Journal recently and is leading change in the marketing and advertising departments, especially considering the major changes taking place in media at the moment. David places huge emphasis on organisational culture, especially collaboration, teamwork and loves to get staff involved in decision making.
